Spheeris Development Corporation - Completed Neighborhoods

The Avenue Square is an in-town, enclosed shopping mall located in downtown Oconomowoc, across from historic City Hall. Originally a service garage built in the early 1900's, the entire building was turned into a quaint indoor shopping mall complete with the look of a turn-of-the-century street with brick floors, individual store fronts and skylights. A two-story addition was then added, replicating the original structure. The addition included a two-story atrium with a glass elevator, a bank with a drive-thru, additional shops and second floor offices. The mall is now one of the main attractions for the downtown offering a fine cafe, a bank and shops where both local patrons and tourists come to visit. The Avenue Square was a vision of incorporating the renovation of a beautiful architectural facade with an alternative use for today's lifestyle.
